ZAMBIA UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who prayed, financially supported, and sent words of encouragement for our mission trip in partnership with Purple Tree Coaching and Consulting and Women of Impact Africa.
This August, Purple Tree Ministries traveled to Zambia, expanding last year’s work as Jacky Davey, our founder, brought a team of local women leaders to conduct a 3-day women leader's conference titled Grow in Purpose: Renew and Obey. This conference was created for women leaders across Africa to create a space for rest, healing, growth, and renewed purpose. Our team also included a licensed therapist, who not only spoke at the conference but also provided one-on-one clinical support for women seeking deeper emotional and mental health guidance.
Following the leaders’ conference, we welcomed 175 women from across Africa for a 1-day retreat centered on the theme of Royal Priesthood Crowned With Purpose. It was a powerful day of worship, teaching, activities, and freedom as women embraced their identity as daughters of the King and stepped out of darkness into the marvelous light of Christ.

Over the past year, our leaders engaged with the course online, and what an incredible blessing it was to have the Purple Tree Ministries team come to Africa to complete the journey with us in person.
Our time together was deeply meaningful, as it wasn’t just another training or teaching session. It was about being present with the women, praying together, walking through healing, and creating space for God to move. Deeply Rooted Conference: A Spirit-Filled Gathering of Women Pursuing Purpose
On March 1, 2025, women from across Broward County came together at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale for the first-ever Deeply Rooted Conference, hosted by Purple Tree Ministries. This powerful all-day gathering was designed to help women grow in faith, embrace their identity in Christ, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
Led by PTM Director Jacky Davey, the event featured worship, Bible-based teachings, interactive workshops, and a spiritual gifts assessment that deeply resonated with attendees. Together, participants explored the “3 Elements of Purpose”: Identity, Destiny, and Assignments, drawing wisdom from the book of Ephesians.
The response was overwhelming: “God’s presence was felt strongly in the room.” PTM is excited to continue this movement with future events that equip, encourage, and empower.
